YOUTH SERVICE CENTER

The Conway Middle School Youth Services Center serves the students and parents of Conway Middle School. Youth Services Centers were created in 1990 as a part of the Kentucky Educational Reform Act (KERA). The purpose of the Conway Middle School Youth Services Center is to assist families in breaking down barriers to educational achievement and to promote lifelong learning.  This year, the Youth Service Center will also have the service of an AmeriCorp worker.  

The Conway Middle School Youth Services Center provides programs and referrals in the following areas:

  • Uniform/School Supply/Basic Needs Assistance
  • Employment Information
  • Career Exploration Activities
  • Parent Support and Involvement Programs
  • Substance Abuse Counseling and Prevention
  • Health Services
  • Mental Wellness Programs
  • Mentoring Programs
  • Violence Reduction Activities
